I was referred to Mr Masood for what I had been years been told and incorrectly diagnosed as a Pelvic Organ Prolapse. It had caused years of problems and meeting Mr Masood for the first time was a breath of fresh air. He made me feel at ease and I felt like for the first time in a long time someone professionally was really listening and looking properly at what was happening. His first reaction was that I didn't actually have a Pelvic Organ Prolapse but rather cysts on the anterior vaginal wall (he knew that within the first minute of examining me) and sent me for a Pelvic MRI to confirm his findings. He was 100% correct and he booked me in for surgery to remove the cysts and repair the vaginal wall. My surgery went smooth, he was able to fully remove all of the cysts and repair the wall really well and healing was smooth. He gave me great after care and his kind, caring and listening nature meant the whole process from start to finish was excellent. His PA kept me informed as the process went along and any questions i had were answered quickly. I would recommend Mr Masood, especially for any women who feel they haven't previously been listened to or not received the care they deserve. A great Consultant who goes the extra mile for patients in his care and has a good admin team behind him to make sure everything goes seamlessly. Thank you from a very satisfied client.

I can't thank Mr Masood enough. He saved my life. I had been very ill and had been admitted to A&E twice at another hospital, for severe haemorrhaging. They had also discharged me (the first time) with no treatment and I had to be admitted to have a blood transfusion the second time, 4.5 bags worth of blood. I was seen as an NHS patient, by Mr Masood and he told me what was wrong straight away; the hospital I'd been admitted to didn't know what was going on and wanted to put me through more tests and a procedure that only had a possible 40% chance of working. I didn't trust the doctors at the other hospital to treat me, as their ineptitude had almost killed me. Mr Masood reassured me and listened to my opinion. I told Mr Masood what I thought should have happened at the other hospital and he was in agreement, he said there was an option to try the procedure I'd been suggested elsewhere, but he felt that due to the condition of my health, my age and other factors my best option was to have a total hysterectomy. I was seen very quickly, efficiently and with great care at all times by the staff and Mr Masood. I had my procedure with no problems, Mr Masood came to check on me himself, which didn't happen at the other hospital, I was seen by approximately 5 consultants/registrars; there were no problems at the check up afterwards either. I fully recommend Mr Masood, and his team, for the excellent care I received.

I am overwhelmed by my operation Novasure Endometrial Ablation carried out with Dr Masood. I have suffered with endometriosis for 15 yrs. Every month i would be in extreme pain. This made me my life so miserable. I have now had no pain for 4 months. I am so happy with the results. I highly recommend him.
